If you picked a skill you don't want, your only option is to make a new character. You can change Follower Skills anytime (asides while being in a Greater Rift) but cannot unlearn them.Followers can only be used in solo play (except with Asheara's Vestments).Only 1 Follower can fight alongside you at a time while other allies, like pets or major NPCs, can join you simultaneously (except with Asheara's Vestments). This is used to reposition it at will in higher Greater Rifts. Your Follower automatically teleports to you when you are more than 75 yards away from it.When a Follower dies while the player stays alive, the Follower revives automatically after 20 seconds. When the Player dies the Follower also dies and all skill Cooldowns are reset (including the cheat death skills: Fate's Lapse, Vanish and Guardian). We will give our best to showcase these here: General Rules In our extensive testing some stats and effects randomly work while others simply don't. Hillenbrand's Training Sword: 5 affixes and halves the cooldowns of Kormac's skills.Generally there are no hard mechanics rules for Followers.Enchanting Favor: 5 affixes and Kormac becomes unkillable (cannot enter a waver state, always remaining active no matter how hard he is hit).Relic of Akarat: 5 affixes and allows all 8 skills to be learned at once. There are three Legendary relics Kormac can use, all of them drop at level 61 or later: Rare quality relics can be crafted by the Blacksmith. There are no special affixes exclusive to Templar, except for legendary guaranteed effects (see below). As of patch 2.0, Magic Find cannot roll on the follower items. Templar Relics can roll up to 6 affixes that can normally be rolled on an amulet (except sockets, critical hit chance, Life %, class-specific affixes or player-only characteristics bonuses). These relics are the Order's sacred items: ritual chalices, shards of holy blades, sanctified texts and holy water vials. The Templar Relic cannot be equipped to a player or other follower classes. These relics boost Kormac the Templar's abilities and attributes. Templar Relics are charm-like special items, specific to the Diablo III follower Templar class.
